After years of many therapies medications and testing, Chloe’s family has agreed to take the advice of her doctor.  He recommends Chloe receives a full medical workup of tests by a leading autism pediatric neurologist in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This trip is in the planning phases as many documents and forms need to be completed, followed by an acceptance of Chloe by the doctor and the clinical research hospital.  Most of the expenses will not be covered by insurance therefore, funds need to be raised to pay for this out of state journey with Chloe.

This recommendation comes on the heals of a struggling year for Chloe.  In 2014, Chloe had many self injurious behaviors including uncontrollable biting of her arms, followed by a summer where she pulled out all of her hair leaving her scalp bloody and scarred.  These behaviors are heartbreaking and unpredictable.

The hope is that this medical mission to Arkansas may give Chloe and her family hope and some answers as to why she does what she does.  Stay tuned for more details.
